Do you know what they are? I feel like they are quite the obscure item.

Fancy Shoes function similarly to your usual Red Boots, but they are colored blue like Wall Boots, despite not giving you walljumping abilities. How odd! But that is not the full story.









A core feature of Fancy Boots is allowing you to retain held items (and also your hat or helmet) when ragdolling. Which is still stupid, but this item is so elusive that I wanted to make it stand out a little more.




This mod overrides the asset used for Fancy Boots to use a low-effort recolor instead of copying Wall Boots' sprites, in an effort to make it much easier to recognize them in-game. And to hopefully promote knowledge of how Fancy Boots work lol

In vanilla, the only place Fancy Boots can spawn in are the procedurally generated Pyramid maps. They are freely available in the editor though, meaning that any custom maps can choose to spawn them as they please.
