Description

Tank Spawner

I've earlier made a Tank Spawn mod but tbh, it was trash, the spawn of the tank depends on the director and it won't spawn a tank each time.

After this fail i decided to make one that does ACTUALLY spawn a tank 100% each round, and i came up with this one, it spawns a tank 100% each round and it has a small tweak.

The tweak is, it's customizable, with two modes, Once and Repeat, you can choice if you want the tank to keep spawning each X seconds or to spawn only once after X seconds from the start of the round.

Notes:

Just like my other adjustable mods, your changes will be automatically saved.
If you change the delay or mode mid game, the timer will restart with the delay chosen.
The default is: Mode: Once Delay: 120s
If it's the finale, no tank will spawn but the vanilla scripted one

UPDATE:

Now you can set the delay on "random" for Repeat and Once mode!
Added status check command!
Added notify features to warn all players when would the next Tank spawn! [ Works only for repeat mode + you can turn it off/on! ]

WARNING:

Works on singleplayer and hosted local servers only!

Commands:

Repeat Mode Spawn

Command

Description

"!repeat 60"

Spawns a tank each 60s

"!repeat 120"

Spawns a tank each 120s

"!repeat 180"

Spawns a tank each 180s

"!repeat 240"

Spawns a tank each 240s

"!repeat 300"

Spawns a tank each 300s

"!repeat random"

Spawns a tank each random delay between 60 - 300 seconds

Once Mode Spawn

Command

Description

"!once 60"

Spawns a tank after 60s when a round starts

"!once 120"

Spawns a tank after 120s when a round starts

"!once 180"

Spawns a tank after 180s when a round starts

"!once 240"

Spawns a tank after 240s when a round starts

"!once 300"

Spawns a tank after 300s when a round starts

"!once random"

Spawns a tank after a random delay between 60 - 300 seconds when a round starts

Notify Spawn

For repeat mode only

"!ts notify on/off"

Notify all players when the next Tank will spawn

Status

"!ts status"

Sends a chat message with which mode, delay are set/on and if the notify is on or off

I never thought I'd need this mod for my alternative experience playthrough

I lowkey wish this addon had 30 and 45 secs option and affects finale too to make it interesting.

i love this mod. it allows for a weird half tank run campaign hybrid mode that u cant really get anywhere else easily. my only gripe is i wish the timer didnt start until after u left the saferoom.

Has a chance to break the first level of the sacrifice, all tanks spawned look like the traincar tank and if a tank was spawned up ahead you wont be able to open the second traincar door, giving you a "exterminate the tank!" popup

Putting it on repeat random is genuinely fun and challenging, its like a lite, diet version of a tank rush game. Feels like if the Tank was just, added into the special infected spawn pool [that would actually be a neat mod idea? as a rare chance or something]
