This mod does not add new artefacts. However it adds about 4000 new icons for artefacts so that :
All weapons have, on average, 12 variations.

There is now over 400 armour icons in the game, split like so :
- Western
- Mail
- Scale
- Lamellar
- Laminar
- Plate (very rare)

- Eastern
- Mail
- Scale
- Lamellar
- Laminar
- Plate (very rare)

- Steppe
- Mail
- Scale
- Lamellar
- Laminar
- Plate (very rare)

- Byzantine
- Mail
- Scale
- Lamellar
- Laminar
- Plate (very rare)

With each Culture/Armor type combination having around 8 variations for each tier (32 in total).

Thus, the icon for a western scale armour will depict, well, a western scale armour!

All base game items have been given variations that the game will pick at random.
All unique items have a custom icon.

Almost every trinket item has a custom icon, tiered, and up to 25 variations. (for instance, scrolls). Crowns also have 25 variations.

All variations are nuances that respect the base game art style and share the same disposition and angling as to make it coherent and follow a pattern for you to recognise.

For instance, armours of tier 3 and 4 have a discreet pattern :
Western : Black / Regal Blue gambesons
Eastern : Shades of Dark Green gambesons
Byzantine : Red / Purple gambesons
Steppe : Brown / Dark Orange gambesons

This is quite a huge leap forward from the older version, both in output quality and sheer scope.

Put this absolutely last. I never had to move this mod from the middle of the mod order I've had it at but now it has to be absolutely last as of this update. I couldn't find any incompatibilty with other mods but putting this mod last fixed the icon issue. Just thought I'd share. Glad it still works!

Looks like today's update broke this mod in some way. The game still works but the icons are back to being Vanilla. Not sure if it's just me so if I figure out a fix I'll edit my comment.

@hamletsdead So, I've been testing by itself by spamming every Creatable artifact with the Divine cheat menu, 200 each. There is something funky going on. You are right. I have it organized in the load order as you mentioned. Nothing else is enabled, and every once in a while, it will glitch, and just 5 to 7 icons will be missing.

When testing this in a long-term game, it seems to become worse over time.

But I think it's the Divine menu itself because my current playthrough does not have this mod, and yet I am experiencing the same problem.

I don't think this actually conflicts with Divine Intervention Cheat Menu. I just started a new game with this mod above DICM (and low in load order) and all the artifacts created by the cheat menu in DICM have proper icons. The only missing icons with my initial toon are for the house and dynasty banners, which show up as a blank icon but appear properly in 3d in court. But something funky is going on, as I switched to a new character and created a bunch of artifacts, and literally all of them are blank. Switched back to the first character, and all his artifact icons still work.

The models of 'erafsh Kaviani' and 'mage of Edessa' do not appear in the royal court. I checked their asset field, 'ep1_generic_coa_banner_01_a_entity'should be unfinished. The asset fields of 'wall_banner_kaviani' and 'wall_banner_edessa' should be changed to the asset fields of 'banner' and 'reliquary'.I made these changes and they worked very well.I hope you can fix this issue in the next update.Finally, thank you for your mods. They are truly excellent.:steamthumbsup:
