This patch makes Urumchi Protoss Ship Sets (2.3) compatible with NSC3 and updates it to 4.0

Lore & Description

The Protoss are a proud, psionically powerful civilization shaped by ancient traditions and unmatched technological mastery. For centuries, their society was guided by the Khala, a telepathic link that ensured unity but punished individuality. The exile of the Nerazim, who rejected this collective bond, fractured their civilization—but also planted the seeds for eventual renewal.

After the fall of their homeworld Aiur to the Zerg and the rise of the fallen Xel'Naga Amon, the Protoss were forced to sever the Khala to survive. In its place rose the Daelaam, a new unity that embraces diversity, allowing High Templar, Dark Templar, and even rogue elements like the Tal’darim to fight under a common banner.

Their fleets—golden, elegant, and charged with psionic energy—are few in number but terrifyingly effective. Each Protoss warrior is trained in both discipline and philosophy, driven by an unwavering sense of purpose and a cultural legacy that stretches back thousands of years.

Now united not by thought, but by choice, the Protoss march into a new age—scarred by betrayal, tempered by loss, and ready to reshape the galaxy with light, will, and steel.

Fixes, Issues & More

-> Removed Overpowered functions
-> sorted out ships looking like just other ships stuffed into each other
-> added proper compatiblity
-> removed some bugged codes
-> Removed Other Abilities and Stuff so that it is just a Shipset
-> Namelist still included

Patch included for 4.0+. Protoss are shown as mechanical

Important:
Honestly... this shipset took me some headache. There are so much shipsets out, where poeple digged their fingers into it. The filestructur of this gave me headache, also find models not beeing a texture mess. Even more to edit all crazy added stuff out making this crazy overpowered. But i think..i got it cleaned out. If you still have any issues, tell them in the comment section and i take a look. As this, i was forced to add the entire assets into this mod. If the rightful owner of the first protoss mod claims this. Please contact me.

This patch has been tested with Stellaris version 4.0.15, but it should remain compatible with past and future versions. I will continue to monitor compatibility.

will this work without NSC3? i know some of your mods do i didnt want to assume however.

Just a heads up to anyone using any or all of force728's Protoss mods, the ships sets are built into his mods and do not require Urumchi Protoss Ship Sets (2.3) mod hence this patch may not do anything for you as it patches a different mod. If you feel that is does it is most likely because you have been installing both Force728's mods and Urumchi Protoss Ship Sets (2.3) causing unintentional overwrites. If your seeing duplicate protoss shipsets, this is why. If some of your protoss shipsets (Tal'Darim, Nerazim, Purifiers) are showing up as Biological instead of mechanical this is why. I recommend deleting Urumchi mod and going with Force728's updated adaptation. Side note i am aware that on Force728 protoss mod pages he recommends Urumchi mod giving the impression the shipsets are seperate despite having built-in and adapted the shipsets, i think its just leftover text meant to be deleted from previous plans that have changed.

It has come to my attention that, when I have this mod activated and I've selected it as my empire's shipset, the game crashes whenever I go into the system view of a system with a completed ringworld. I couldn't guess as to why, but the problem went away when I deactivated this mod.

Follow up to this: I don't have NSC3 installed because it wasn't listed as a requirement. Is that the problem or is this mod standalone and it's just something weird with the shipset?

This may sound like an ultra dumb af question (more like 2 dumb af questions)... I don't see the requirements for NSC3 for this mod so does that mean this can work without the NSC3 mod?

Does this Protess ship set mod have different colored hauls or it it just the golden default color???

Good evening, morning, whatever time it is for you right now, but unfortunately when I use all the ship sets I have the problems that some ship space stations are missing or everything is completely missing.
