I haven't really myself other than educated guesses based on rolling stock from similar time periods. I gave the Victorian Sprinter railcar 0.8 m/s/s and that stock has a more powerful engine, but max acceleration is also dependent on gearing so could vary a lot.

Acceleration isn't based on anything much more than an assumption, i was not able to find reliable stats for it, if there is a better recommendation i am more than happy to change it.
