Description
The 4000 Series (4000系) is a commuter EMU operated by Fukuoka City Subway on the Kūkō (Airport) and Hakozaki lines.

Introduced as the replacement for the subway's aging 1000 series trains, the 4000 series entered service in November 2024. The rounded front shape of the 2000 series was changed to a more rectangular appearance to improve visibility and reduce maintenance costs. For the sides, the blue stripe was retained, but additional sky-blue decals were added to represent Fukuoka Airport. Overall, the main design theme was "People-friendly mobility for the next generation of Fukuoka". For the interior, standard long seating is used, but the width of each individual seat is the widest in the country. In addition, the first car facing the Fukuoka Airport direction has a large free space installed, it can accommodate multiple wheelchairs, strollers, or large luggage. The 4000 series is the first commercial passenger train to adopt synchronous reluctance motors, which reduced energy usage by 20% compared to squirrel-cage induction motors. 4 sets have entered operation as of May 2025, composing of 6 cars each, they are expected to fully replace the 1000 series by FY2027. In addition to the two aforementioned subway lines, the 4000 series also runs on the JR Chikuhi line, which through operates with the subway Kūkō Line.

Wow, Tokyu and Sotetsu! Thank you, Kalute! Recently, my passengers are unhappy, because they can't take Tokyu from Naka-meguro to Shibuya directly:steamhappy:

Thank you for using my mods! I'm glad prefer my capacity calculation method over using the default capacity. With regards to Toei, I generally avoid making mods for trains that already have a decent quality mod available on the workshop, at least for the time being. As you are most likely aware, there are still many trains in the Kanto area without any mod of decent quality, such as Tokyu, Sotetsu, etc. I think it is best that I focus my efforts on those missing trains first. I definitely do not rule out making Toei or Osaka Metro mods in the future, but they are not currently a priority.
I appreciate your understanding!

Excellent work, Kaluté! I like your trains, because their capacity is more realistic than other authors.
Could you make Toei Metro trains? I’m trying to simulate rail network in Kanto area recently, so I need Toei Metro trains, especially Asakusa Line and Oedo Line.
