Description
A small but impactful modification for deeper Zone immersion!

The Zone is full of strangers, and few recognize each other by face. Thanks to this, wearing a faction's armor lets you blend in as one of their own. For example, in a bandit jacket, you can freely enter their camp, sit by the fire, and eavesdrop on local thugs. The same works for mercenaries and other factions.

But be careful: if your allies spot you in enemy gear, they won’t hesitate to open fire.

This mod is perfect for roleplay-focused playthroughs, but if you prefer other playstyles, it might not be for you. After all, hauling around a pile of jackets and vests isn’t the most convenient task.

This is really useful, however, it ruins progression... you should make it to where outfits dont always spawn on corpses and will spawn with lower durability instead of max... marked one could get an exoskeleton as a rookie like this!

по итогу группировка не меняется, какую бы я броню не надел, но ребята пишут, что мод ломает игру и группировка назад не меняется, так что, я даже рад, что у меня обычное снятие брони, хоть тут и не хватает кучи костюмов (например долговец в их севе дропает обычный броник долга)

Be careful when installing this mod!
It works like intended and does everything it claims to do, but you should think before installing it.

You need to consider that mercenary costume makes all stalkers hostile, so if you are starting the game and then installing the mod - any savefile you load will make factions hostile towards you based on what you are wearing. After loading the savefile you CANNOT undo it any way other than use other costume (and if you have no other nearby consider your save fuсked)

А в целом механика прикольная для ролевухи и прохождение по стелсу, но она бы больше подошла для ЗП и то это будет каким-то спидраном

Так будет не канон если переодеться в Монолит, так как они имеют телепатическую связь между собой, а сталкер как-то выделяется. Я не знаю что там на счёт мутантов и зомбированных, ведь Монолит имеет с ними дружеские отношения. По этому если уж и делать то исключением добавить Монолит (и зомбированных тоже, если конечно можно переодеваться)

Due to how faction reputation is scripted, this change isn’t feasible without major revisions. The system tracks affiliation separately from gear, so removing armor won’t reset it.

Would it be possible to modify this mod with a small patch? Currently, when you're wearing, for example, a bandit jacket, and you take it off, you still retain the bandit rank. Because of that, you need to carry two different armors just to get rid of the rank.
Is it possible to fix the mod so that after taking off any armor, the rank resets back to the default rank, which is "loner"?
