Description
Adnan Al-Kaissie, later known as "General Adnan," was in the WWF (now WWE) primarily to capitalize on the real-world conflict of the Gulf War. He was used as a heel manager, aligning with wrestlers like Sgt. Slaughter (as a pro-Iraqi sympathizer) and The Iron Sheik (rebranded as Colonel Mustafa). Adnan's character, with his striking resemblance to Saddam Hussein, was used to create controversy and a strong villainous presence during a time of heightened political tension.

Hahahah I was THERE for Wrestlemania 7. What an angle that whole Saddam Hussein thing was, like when he sent Sgt. Slaughter the boots before WM7, wow, lol! :steamhappy:
