A true 8 sided pagoda to decorate the landscape that will make any oriental scenery beautiful. It is an architectural wonder when viewed outside but it also holds a profound truth within. The splendour of this building can be enjoyed as it is but its true beauty lies in its allegorical architecture therefore, one must read all the tablets within only when one is ready to receive its wisdom.

Construction Position Recommendation:

Build this pagoda with its entrance facing the north to align it with the 5 elements. Where north is water, south is fire, east is wood, west is metal and centre is earth. Do not dismantle the gates due to asymmetry because they also represent the 5 element numbers where 1 gate with 6 lanterns represent water, 2 gates with 7 lanterns represent fire, 3 gates with 8 lanterns represent wood, 4 gates with 9 lanterns represent metal and 5 gates with 10 lanterns represent earth.
