Description
The first-generation Railjets are reversible trains operated by the Austrian Federal Railways,
are among the fastest locomotive-hauled trains in the world and have been used on an ever-growing network of the
Railjet (RJ) and Railjet Xpress (RJX) train types in and around Austria since the 2008/2009 timetable change. The trainsets are formed with carriages from the Siemens Viaggio Comfort vehicle family, which are based on the modular carriages from SGP.
