Description
Operation: Iron Tide
[Info]
A mission pack + campaign full of vehicles.
  • 9 primary missions
  • Large urban maps
  • Warlord Type Enemies
  • Modded Vehicles (NGF ASSETS)
  • Honestly, the campaign is really difficult, so maybe stick to the mission pack

This is NOT CIA friendly
Bring anti-tank weapons.
Also, a good excuse to use overpowered air-strikes from various modded squads


Briefing
Velangai is a large Southeast Asian island nation with significant oil reserves beneath its vibrant coasts. Khudar, a powerful military nation recently overthrown by a hostile military junta, wants a share of those vast resources as well, making claims that Velangai sits on historically Khudari land, and has thus launched all-out war against the people of Velangai, threatening economic interests in the region. The US has appealed to the UNSC and has assembled a coalition to expel Khudari occupiers from the region before they can seize the nation of Velangai and their regional oil reserves.

Oh I figured out final mission. You have to kill that T-72. That's the equipment you need to destroy to win. It requires two rockets to take out so bring plenty of firepower.

Same as others. Couldn't complete the finale. Objectives say to destroy equipment but there's nothing to destroy. Really good campaign otherwise!

i would rather not double upload tho and people do want the mission packs for co-op. how would you prefer it tho?

look this is nice and all. But can the single mission packs go, I am fine with the operations and the maps you make are good but it would be better if you can have mission packs separated from operations.

Third completed campaign, completed using Rangers. Holy tankman

Main issue I faced was on mission 5, where it seemed that the walls were indestructible, so I couldn't make use of AT4s or wall charges, this may be a literacy issue on my end but it made the mission a lot harder.

TANKS, HOLY TANK COMBAT, HELL YES.
I'm sure the way they worked were using a custom NPC given the tank's weapon, but it would still have been cool to be able move the vehicles around the AO, even if it was only just a little.

Overall, great setting, great lore, fantastic level design.

That’s odd, because theres a hidden evac under the stryker and in my testing I’m pretty sure it let me evac. I hope it wasn’t too much of an annoyance lol. I’ll see if I remember to fix it later.

By far Some of the best modded missions I've ever played, haven't completed at the moment but have gotten through the 3rd mission and have tried the 4th a few times. One thing that is a little unfortunate is that on Mission 4 where you need to rescue Squad 2, you cant evac without killing all of the enemies because the APC counts as one of your units and you need all units in evac zone to complete without killing all enemies.

For the sky bridge, clear the outside first or use smokes to provide concealment. Idk what else to say but you could probably find somebody who did it on youtube. :spiffo:

I can't change the vehicles but I agree the Strykers are a little underwhelming. For some reason the stryker can't shoot anything behind cover, but that's something the mod creator has to change.

To control your tanks just use it like a unit (right click and drag to aim). You can't make it move though.
