yaboiMylesH's Player, Coach, and Admin Face Pack

Description
This face pack features 1500 unique player faces, 750+ unique coach faces (including 168 faces with 56 real university logos) and 250 unique admin/booster faces designed to increase game quality and immersion. This face pack also includes all 32 NFL head coaches (as of May 2025) and the 10 highest paid CFB coaches (as of May 2025).

To "add" a real life coach to your save, you will need to edit the coach's name to reflect the IRL coach's name. Each file is saved as "Firstname_Lastname", so ensure the name is typed correctly (the names are cap sensitive). This pack is purely cosmetic and only adds images for players, coaches, and admin/boosters.

If you'd like for the coaches with real university logos to be affiliated with the actual university, follow the steps below or watch the associated YouTube tutorial video (https://youtu.be/y7QBJh0Mb8Y). NOTE: To my knowledge, this can only be done for new save files since it imports a new league file (.json). The league file used for this item is based on JeffMod FBS Universe (version 23). It is possible (and suggested) to use the JeffMod FBS Universe workshop item. This pack and the league file is not intended to replace the JeffMod FBS Universe workshop item, only supplement it. All credit belongs to the original creator for that workshop item.
1) Start a new save and within the League Universe Setup menu, select this pack from the Steam Workshop (ensure you have "Use coaches from file" selected to import coach names, images, and attributes).
2) On the next screen (New Game Settings menu) and under Configuration Settings, select JeffMod FBS Universe (Images Folder > Steam Workshop).
3) After following the above, you can finalize your game settings. Note: Coach images will not populate until after selecting "Begin Game". You can verify the coach images are loaded and are affiliated with the actual universities by looking at Alabama, UGA, and others. At this time, not all universities have a coach and staff wearing their affiliated logos.

Some faces in this pack were generated using Google's ImageFX, meaning generated faces were created using artificial intelligence. Every generated image was reviewed to ensure a level of realism, with attention paid to avoiding uncannily weird logos or unrealistic artifacts. This workshop item is a result of the recent game update (v1.5.0) which allows for custom image uploads.

For those who are curious or would like to generate their own images, below are the base prompts I used. Throughout the process, I did vary the prompt to get specific/various results.
Players - Close up front-facing portrait of a male college athlete set against a clean white background
Coaches - Close up front-facing portrait of a college football coach set against a clean white background
Admin - Close up front-facing portrait of a college football admin set against a clean white background

I thoroughly enjoy playing the game with real-life university, conference, and bowl logos (most of my saves use JeffMod FBS Universe). So, I figured adding custom faces for players, coaches, and admin/boosters would further enhance that experience.

I created this with the intention of further enjoying the game and the immersion it offers, and I hope you do as well. Thank you to the game dev and the community!

For player images, some Steam Workshop items (e.g., JeffMod FBS Universe) include 136 or 138 universities. Creating enough unique player faces for even a 53-man roster for each university would require over 7000 images. Considering the game allows up to 85 scholarship slots per year, that number increases to nearly 12000. This would require a significantly larger time commitment and extensive demand for AI resources. Also, this pack has over 1000 images and is over 1 GB of storage. Increasing the number of images directly increases the storage required for this pack.

Disclaimer: Some images are generated using artificial intelligence. While they have been reviewed, there is a possibility that weird AI artifacts were overlooked. Any AI generated images with resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

Hey @83, the pack does not generate new AI faces for recruits. However, new recruit faces do not use the default smiley faces. New recruits (and even new coaches/admin) will still use faces from the pack. In most instances, player faces will be reused since there are currently around 1000 player images.

does it generate new AI faces for recruits? i assume not, so what do the faces for new recruits look like? just the default smiley faces?

Hey @eaabban699, there's a video for the workshop item that serves as a tutorial. You can also find the tutorial on YouTube (https://youtu.be/y7QBJh0Mb8Y)

How do you change coaches images? Where do you locate the folder to save the image?

Hey @Scott E, I've added a video to the workshop item to serve as a tutorial. You can also find the tutorial on YouTube (https://youtu.be/y7QBJh0Mb8Y) . The tutorial includes a way to use the face pack for a new save file (with the JeffMod FBS Universe) and for already existing save files. Hopefully this helps!

Not a rush job, very nicely curated face pack.
Hoping for updates down the road that steadily increases the number of faces, but not at the cost of quality :)

Excellent work!
