Thanks for the quick response! I missed one definition in my first comment. Also missing is state_modifier_mapicon, lines 697-713 in mapicons.gui of the original mod. That's the last missing one, though, I double checked.

Your mapicons.gui file is missing GFX_mapicon_mega_gun_emplacement, GFX_mapicon_mega_gun_emplacement_large, and GFX_mapicon_facility_specialization_land definitions. Those icons will not appear in the game without the definitions. You can fix this by just copying lines 927-958 from the original mod's mapicons.gui and pasting them into your mod's mapicons.gui at line 908.
