Description
By Janleon: Welcome to the great world of beavers! In this vast region, you'll find new ways for you and your beavers to manipulate the water at every turn and on every level! You'll find a nearly infinite number of caves and paths for you to build and explore. A vast array of water and Bad Water streams flow over and through everything. There are buried water sources and aqueducts in many places that your beavers can use; keep your eyes open!

This Map is 399x399 and on the normal side but get hard with set difficulty through a multitude of reservoirs where the water can evaporate or store Bad Water !!

Be aware that due to its size the map takes a little longer to load and may cause stuttering on weak PCs!

I have 40+ maps online as well as a collection "Beavers Map Collection". I hope you like it and if so pls leave a comment or share a screenshot.
Created with the help of the mod "Map Resizer"!

Had a great time with this one, biggest map I've ever played. The first two droughts were brutal and I was minutes away from beavers dying of thirst. Due to the water source placement, even when freshwater season starts, it takes days for the water to actually reach your area. Pro tip for the mid game: the second mountain that water source moves by is hollow. Cut the trees down, make a hole in the roof and pour water into it, and it's an easy water reservoir that can last you the rest of the game (on normal atleast).

this map looks amazing but the performance is so bad for me, barely get 2 fps when moving around :steamsad:

That was the idea: both large rivers start relatively close to the starting position but then run over a longer distance. Diverting one of them downwards should be feasible, so you'd have direct access to water. Then you have the small lake diagonally across, which has enough water until mid-game. And then you have two hidden water sources around the starting position. If i hear more ppl. wanting that i will add one more hidden watersource but i would say 5 arround the starting posi are good.

Could you add more water sources? It takes forever for water to reach starting area

With mods you can build bigger but you dont need the mods to play if you work within the boundaries of the game. :D i wish you a lot of fun James! :)

I wasn't even aware you could make maps bigger than 256x256. Major respect! I'll be trying this one soon.
