MILITIA TO SUCK LESS

Description
Some boon for Militia: not to lose stars, wannabe Undercover, doctrine boosts, quick aim sights.
...and wear tank tops and ammo belts as real men, not the Government-Issued T-shirts and ammo pouches!

As you know, Militia sucks.
This mod provides "something extra" for vanilla.
My supposition is as below:
  • 2 to 6 Militia, including "Undercover"
  • Combatants to equip Mini Uzi, Ghost Ring sights, 2 grenades, and possibly armor
  • 0 to 2 "Undercover" to equip M9 and a grenade
  • Being buffed by 2 doctrines
  • 1 or 2 losses are forgiven
You can screw the game by ignoring the supposition: with your own responsibility.

Not to lose stars
Technically every Militia is "expendable": their losses don't count for stars.
Sorry I cannot handle the amount and don't want to create a new squad.

Wannabe Undercover
With the Poncho (忍) at the support gear slot and the Traditional hat, Militia gets 9 concealment.
Honestly, "Play civilian" is just for the "Always showing suspicious areas" button.
I suppose a few for scouts or infiltrators, not many for grenadiers!

Doctrine boosts
Militia Training doctrine also affects their pistols: much better than the rifle bonus for 1-7m, par for 7-15m, no bonus beyond that.
Leadership doctrine gives buff like Foreign Advisors, approx. half amount of the Militia Training doctrine, in addition to the original effect.

Quick aim sights
Ghost Ring sights, for every vanilla primaries, allow aiming quicker (50ms at 7m and decays over distance), at a cost of critical chance penalty (5 points).
Yes, a marginal buff and penalty.
If it's boring, please tell me.

Caution
Whenever enabling/disabling this mod, equip something else before the ones you want.
Say, you can equip no-concealment-penalty guns, or you cannot unequip the Ghost Ring sight from the Mini Uzi.
The latter is based on a vanilla oversight and I have reported it.

Appendix
With my mod "Shotgun Mafia's Gun Rack", Militia can equip M500-MEK, or Crude Sawed-off Shotgun while staying covert.
Shotguns are not affected by doctrines or not allowed to attach the Ghost Ring sight, but are fairly good.

So reduced concealment penalty of AK-47, from 2 to 1.5.
Pretend civilian, hide behind covers, and draw the gun!

Sorry IMO Uzi would be too good as a concealable gun,
and I have not tried the AK-47 enough because I'm sick.

After several gameplay , I think the undercover should work like black ops
, they should carry a half-Ak or uzi to attack. I think this gonna spare them with cia gameplay in my opinion :steamhappy:

Maybe you would worry about Poncho or wannabe Undercover, am I right?
This mod don't affect CIA or other squads.
I made a totally new "Poncho" for Militia, and allow Militia to play civilian.

When this mod enabled, Militia in the SWAT squad of the base game gets change.
When disabled, Militia and the SWAT squad can get back to the default state, by equipping vanilla guns etc.

Of course you can change my mod if you want.

I have the mod that add more CIA dudes,so I can fit more loadout for them.Will this more edit the user file,which makes it unfunctional?

Yes this mod overwrites Militia's human entity (3d model, concealment, etc.), and 2 doctrines (Militia Training, Inspiring Leader).
IIRC when conflict happens, the game warns.
