Old Section of Mine

Description
Amidst paper's silent, scattered reign,
Where countless hours blurred in softest pain,
A vision stirs, a form begins to gleam.
From the discarded depths, a waking dream.

Welcome, traveler, to this space I've made,
Where lines take hold and shadows gently wade.
Here, on the page, a story starts to bloom,
Dispelling paper's melancholy gloom.

Important Notes:
1. No tight timing or tight angles, no glitches, no bunnyhopping, etc. All clean logical moves.
2. Unexpected Information: Aligning the laser cube to point upwards is part of the solution.
3. The intended solution does not involve the following: The pedestal button with rescue signage (only for anti-softlock mechanism), entrance's portal surface, and cube going straight in the funnel cross (executable by quick portals).
4. CFG (Crouch Funnel Glitch) is allowed and not fixed in any way. Feel free to do it. If you did use CFG, it means you're either one of these types of people: (a) You're trying to speedrun this chamber and it's fine, I'll record who's the fastest (post your run in the comments), or (b) You have zero intention to play the puzzle fully.

Special Thanks:
1. Mikeastro for the BGM. The BGM name is "I Miss Everyone" from Irrational Points album.
2. Nobody No-One for reporting the cheese where the fizzler is not low enough.

Difficulty: 3/10 (Easy)

I saw your first solution to be quite execution-based. The funnel crossing thing is not-so-easy to execute if you're not comfortable with quick portals (which requires stable FPS afaik). I, personally, am a bit comfortable with it but I wouldn't use it for this puzzle. Thanks for the compliment anyway.

(Oh, I accidentally deleted the comments (oh no))

The actual solution is much better than what I first found. Very neat map!
