CH RAlpinAG Bcm61 RoLa coach

The RAlpin UIC-X wagons are converted Bcm 61 type couchette wagons, which originally came from the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) and were adapted for use as escort wagons on the Rolling Road (RoLa). The wagons were built in 1979 by Schweizerische Waggonfabrik Schlieren (SWS). They were originally used by SBB as air-conditioned couchette coaches on international night services, for example on the Zurich-Rome route. Following the cancellation of these services in 2009, RAlpin took over a total of 20 of these coaches in 2010. The conversion was carried out by TecSol AG in Austria in 2011.
