Weapon Replacements for BM:Blue Shift

This addon is ONLY for Black Mesa: Blue Shift.
There are versions for the base game already uploaded; here is a collection of them:

Saved games from before this addon was downloaded might not work properly.
All of this is untested; Certain components may not work or behave bad.
Gameplay may change as animation lengths could be different.
These were animated on different hands, so may look weird sometimes.
The forearm uses an automatic twist system that shouldn't bug out but idk (I can't be expected to reexport all animations, too fat and lazy eating cake)
If this addon updates, the .vpk files will have to be moved again.
If BM:BS updates, I don’t know what will happen lol.

Here is a tutorial for placing this addon's .vpk files into Black Mesa: Blueshift's 'custom' folder.

1. In the Steam library, right-click on Black Mesa. Click on 'Manage' and then click 'Browse local files'.
   
   This will open your Black Mesa install folder.
   
   
2. Enter the folder 'bshift'. Inside of 'bshift' there should be a folder called 'custom'. If there is not a folder called 'custom', create it.
   
   Inside of the 'custom' folder is where we'll place our .vpk files into so the game can read them.
   
   
3. Create another window and keep one inside of the 'custom' folder. In the new window, go back through the directories until you reach 'steamapps'. Enter 'workshop', 'content', '362890', '3480961502', then 'VPKs'.
   
   This folder contains all of the .vpk files in this Workshop addon (the ones listed below and in the picture). '362890' is Black Mesa's Steam ID. '3480961502' is this Workshop addon's ID.
   
   
4. Move the .vpk files you want from folder 'VPKs' into folder 'custom' from before. Unsubscribing from this addon will remove all the files you haven't copied over, which is up to you.

This addon should now show up in game. If it doesn't work at this point then I am unable to help you. You can unpack the .vpk files to modify files and it might make it work if you are still having problems. You'll have to sleuth around to figure out how to do that.

Don't have multiple replacements for one weapon.
If you'd like to remove the firing sound effects, either as you'd like the stock sounds or prefer another sound pack, you can simply not transfer over any .vpk file with the suffix "gunshots". You can also unpack the .vpk files to tweak more things.

Click on any to take you to the base game upload; hi-res pictures and gifs await!!! Yay!
