Description
I'm taking vanilla weapons and updating them. You've probably already seen some of my earlier attempts at creating mods on the workshop. These differ in that their stats and handling will be VERY similar to the vanilla weapons and have updated and more consistent graphics. I will be adding more weapons to this pack as I make them!

This mod currently contains:

RK Series: Hard-hitting with lots of recoil -- Aim for the waist!
RKS 75 (Classic AK)
RKS 75 TAC (Modern AK)
RK SCOUT

Patriot M4 Series: Fast firing with low recoil -- Where'd my ammo go!?
Patriot M4
Patriot M4 TAC
Patriot M4 SCOUT "With 70% parts commonality between this and the Patriot, this marksman rifle packs a heavier punch in a faster bullet."

R-IND7 "You'll be familiar with this gun if you've used the S-IND7. Made by a new factory with space age materials..."

TAC weapons will be slightly more effective in the hands of AI than non TAC weapons.
SCOUT weapons are long range. Going prone dramatically increases accuracy!
SPEC weapons are silenced TAC weapons with lower recoil but slower projectiles

I have a lot to refine with this -- here's a list:
-Change RK SCOUT Fire sound
-Update R-IND7 Sounds
-Fix hole in unity on patriot models (right hand side)
-Add Holes in M4 SCOUT Hand Gaurd
-Replace weapon icon in menu
-Add bolt animation for hip fire (you can see the non-moving bolt when leaning)
-Add Grenade Launcher variants
-Add Sniper Rifles
-Add Pistols
-Add launchers (Including Stinger)

These are all original models.

That's a really nice mod ! I like it very much.
Did you plan on updating the icons ? It may seems a little odd but I like when my icons are all the same in the menu XD
I also hope that you will implement all those modifications, it would be great.

It may be a little while till this mod gets updated -- I'll let you guys know (probably in the next couple months) when I'm active again!

hey thanks for the encouragement! I may do just that. I've been working on some skin mods (which you should totally check out) and kind of following what's interesting me in the moment. I will come back around soon to finishing this project though.

Also don't feel discouraged about the LMGs, you could totally utilize existing assets to make them, for example a good RK platform LMG could just be an automatic version of the RK scout model with a drum mag, bipod, and iron sights. Basically more like a RPK type weapon rather than a PKM or something. Make sure to not feel pressured by us though, keep making what you want and enjoy it, I'm just trying to help get ideas in your ear. ;)
