Stranded: Crash of The Black Eagle

Description
What’s the mod about?
In 1936, a lone Luftwaffe pilot crashes in the heart of Africa—and hell follows after him. Crash of The Black Eagle is a potentially dark, alternate-history expansion for Hearts of Iron IV, chronicling the rise and potential fall of Wolfgang Reinhold, the mad "Black King" of Gambia. Stranded in the jungle.

Main Features:
Gambia’s Descent Into Madness – An expanding focus tree with multiple paths, including:
  • A Fallen Eagle (Drown the world in a war conjured up by a delusional mad man)

  • Assessing Our Situation (Attempt to reconnect with Germany and establish a Reichsprotektorat in the region)

  • "Reinhold’s Sanity" – Over time, and through focuses, Reinhold’s mental sanity can either improve or deteriorate, representing his grip on reality and the drastic measures and acts he commits.

  • Ascend To The Stars – Reinhold, should he lose his sanity, has the goal of Ascending through the power of the Gambia River, should he complete his mission, the world will suffer dire consequences, should he fail however, it is unlikely Reinhold’s mind can withstand the suffering.

  • New story-based events based on Reinhold’s actions within the Gambia River.

  • More To Come (Future updates will add additional paths)

Planned Future Content:
  • New Radio Station – Eerie ambient tracks and distorted propaganda.

  • Unique map effects to provide more eerie visuals.

  • Dynamic Disaster System – Floods, famines, and "The Black Sun’s Curse" debuff.

FAQ
  • Do I need any DLC?
    No! This mod is standalone.

  • Is this compatible with other mods?
    Avoid map-altering mods. Otherwise, it should work fine.

  • How dark does this get?
    Very. Expect human sacrifice, insanity mechanics, and various horrific themes.

There should be a secret focus tree if Reinhold Sanity deteriorates too fast he declares war on everybody and proclaim himself God of Gambia or smth idk

@Joewlpc For stories sake, you're correct. They shouldn't have planes. However, @Wehrmacht chose to give the players an air force just out of the nature of how Wolfgang Reinhold made it into Africa.

@Soviet The Cat Thing No, there are not currently unique models, nor are there plans to create any.

@Creator_Of_Chaos I have finished with my works on this mod, meaning all content added by me is likely at it's end-point. I took up this project just as a simple, fun work to occupy myself with and create my own little bit of alternate history and display my writings.

@cobalot1st This mod's purpose isn't to be funny, or to expand upon World War 2. The purpose of this mod was to create an alternate history scenario based no-where near upon reality.

please update this mod as i have played both sides in under 2 hours and it was fun but i got bored quickly as germany wouldnt let me join ww2 or their faction

the smallest focus tree going. the "go outside" mod has more use, cus thats funny for a one off. this is pointless

Hello, when doing focuses like "the Gambian mirage" or "Army of the river", it says it will create "German units" but after the focus finishes, no unit appeared ?
