True Cultural Names

Description
This mod enhances Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord by adding historically accurate names to all factions while preserving the original names. Using XSLT files, it adds new culturally appropriate names without replacing existing content.

Historical Accuracy for Each Faction

Sturgia - Kievan Rus (9th-13th centuries)
Authentic Eastern Slavic names from the Kievan Rus period. Includes names of princes, boyars, and common folk from historical records and chronicles.

Vlandia - Norman/Frankish (10th-12th centuries)
Adds historically accurate Norman and Frankish names, including those of nobles and knights. Features both Latin-form names and Old French variants to reflect the Norman cultural blend.

Battania - Celtic Cultures of the Dark Ages (5th-10th centuries)
Expands with authentic Brythonic (Welsh, Cornish, Breton), Pictish, and Goidelic (Irish, Scottish) names from the post-Roman "DarkAges" period. Names are sourced from historical records, inscriptions, and early medieval manuscripts.

Empire - Byzantine (Eastern Roman Empire, 7th-12th centuries)
Supplements with authentic Greek Byzantine names from the middle Byzantine period. Includes imperial family names, aristocratic dynasties, and common Greek names of the era.

Nord - Viking Age Scandinavian (8th-11th centuries)
Enhances with authentic Norse/Viking names from sagas, runestones, and historical accounts. Features both common Norse names and those of famous raiders and kings.

Khuzait - Mongolic and Turkic Steppe Peoples (12th-14th centuries)
Expands with historically accurate Mongol and Turkic names from the period of the Mongol Empire. While primarily Mongolic, it also includes names from other steppe cultures that composed the vast Mongol armies and khanates.

Aserai - Early Medieval Arabic/Bedouin (7th-13th centuries)
Adds authentic names from early Islamic and pre-Islamic Arabic cultures, including bedouin tribal names, names of notable caliphate-era figures, and common Arabic names of the period.

I wish my people who are Italian had representation. But I guess it all goes down to the fall of Roma.... Still love your idea!
