Warhammer 40k - The Black Templars

The Black Templars are a zealous and crusading Space Marine Chapter in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, known for their unrelenting devotion to the Emperor of Mankind and their eternal war against heresy, mutants, and xenos. Born from the Imperial Fists' gene-seed, the Black Templars reject the Codex Astartes' strict organizational structure, instead roaming the galaxy in massive fleets called Crusades. They fight with fanatical fervor, often engaging in close combat to deliver the Emperor’s judgment firsthand. Each Black Templar is driven by an unshakable religious conviction, swearing oaths of loyalty and vengeance before battle, and their chaplains and leaders stoke this fervor to near-religious ecstasy. Rejecting psykers entirely, they see psychic power as a dangerous corruption, and they value martial purity and spiritual strength above all.
