FGP 227 (Flyable Scale Model)

Description
FGP-227 – Flyable BV-238 Scale Model

The FGP-227 is a flyable scale replica of the original aerodynamic model used for flight testing the massive BV-238—the largest flying boat of World War II.

This simplified, easy-to-fly version retains the spirit of its real-world counterpart while delivering smooth, stable flight performance for pilots of all skill levels.

Specs

  • Range: ~720 km at 120 knots
  • Max Speed: 230 knots
  • Crew: 2 (Pilot + Flight Observer)
  • 4 Engines
  • Instrument + Landing Lights
  • Refueling port: Left fuselage, forward of wing
  • Fuel Capacity: 697.5L

      How to Fly
      1. Enter the pilot’s seat
      2. (Optional) Flip on instrument lights
      3. Hold the starter switch (bottom left panel) until the first engine starts
      4. While holding the starter, advance the engine selector
      5. Repeat for all four engines
      6. Ensure all engines are running >120 RPM
      7. Hold pitch up while throttling to full (Important!)
      8. Level off, retract floats, and enjoy the skies!

Simple, elegant, and a joy to fly—just like the engineers intended.
      Happy flying!

Why thank you. IRL I think this one crashed 3(?) times, not the easiest aircraft to fly, certainly.
