Description

Bring locked loot rooms into your vanilla DayZ world!




Overview
The Lootrooms lets you block individual doors on existing buildings — no new map objects required. Add secret loot rooms, set custom keys, alarms, and even trigger gas strikes, while preserving the pure vanilla experience.




Best used with CJ187-LootChest

Features
• Door blocking in vanilla buildings
• Block any door by index in your world — no level editor objects needed.

• In-game door index debugger
• Use your debug key on certain door to print its index on your in-game screen.

• Use P button to copy exact position of the building you wanna lock a door for.
Requires VPPAdminTools

• Zen’s Artillery Strike Grenades integration
• Seamlessly integrates with Zens ArtillerStrike Grenades to spawn chemical artillery after unlocking.

• JSON configuration
• Define your loot rooms in lootroom-config.json:
position: world coords ("X Y Z")
className: building type (e.g. Land_Mil_Barracks5_Basement)
doorIndex: which door to lock
compatibleKeyClassName: item used to unlock
playAlarm: sound alarm on unlock?
artilleryStrike: trigger gas strike?
artilleryDelay: delay before the gas strikes (30s ≈ 1min in game, due to code execution; it will use 1:1 settings for your toxic strike from Zens mod config)




Usage
1. Edit `$profile:\Lootrooms\lootroom-config.json`.
2. Add your targets under “Lootrooms” array.
3. Restart server — doors defined in your JSON will be locked at mission start.
4. Use the debug action to verify door indices.
5. Unlock with your custom key to gain entry (and trigger alarm/gas if enabled!).

Heya, probably being dumb here but.. What is the 'debug' key? Cant see it anywhere in controls

It doesn't crash dayz, or at least shouldn't. This NPT will trigger each time you perform the continous action of opening a lootroom DOOR - nothing to do with CJ chests etc.

You can see this actually in game, when you break the action and try again, or just try few lootrooms in a row - they won't open for a while, jumping etc will help eventually.

I do not know the fix for that but this is rarely reported, so shouldn't be that big of a deal as in practise it should only happen (noticable) when player will stop the aciton for some reason.
