MTS Torpedo MK 2

Description
MTS Torpedoes Mk 2 – Modular. Reliable. Deadly.

Say hello to the MTS Mk 2: a versatile, modular torpedo platform built for everything from basic strikes to high-end submarine warfare. Plug it in, tune it up, and let it rip. Comes in two subvariants (Proximity and Impact).

Specs/Features
  • Max Speed: 64 m/s
  • Range: 9.3 km
  • Depth Hold: 3-stage, highly accurate
  • Direction Hold: Yes
  • Sonar Modes: Active, Passive, None
  • Adjustable Speed
  • Anti-Submarine Mode
  • LUT (Lost Target Circle + Reacquire)
  • Small Format 3x3x19 blocks
  • Integrated sliding connector for easy reloading systems and inset hardpoint for small factor systems

Normal Use
Just want it to go boom?
  • Connect it to a hardpoint connector using the selection grid
  • Send an On/Off to the launch node
  • It will travel forward at 2m depth by default
Fast, simple, deadly. Done.

Advanced Use
Using the Select Tool, in the General Data Management Controller, you can adjust:
  • Default depth (m)
  • Direction (-180° to 180°)
  • Sonar mode (Active, Passive, None)
  • Speed (m/s)
  • Disable Anti-Sub mode
  • Disable LUT mode
In the Movement Controller, you can tune:
  • Sonar FOV (to avoid tracking yourself)
  • LUT circling direction (CW/CCW)

Very Advanced Use
Want full control? Feed these composite values through the hardpoint:

1 - Depth to hold
2 - Direction (-180 to 180)
3 - Sonar mode (1 = Off, 2 = Passive, 3 = Active)
4 - Speed (m/s)
5 - Disable Anti-Sub Mode (1 = Off)
6 - Disable LUT (1 = Off)

Notes
  • Torpedo might track you – reduce sonar FOV to prevent it
  • For high speeds, tweak sonar yaw/pitch multipliers in the movement controller
  • Broaching is rare, but if it happens: raise depth or disable Anti-Sub mode
Enjoy launching some serious underwater chaos!

The submarines and Aircraft are of my design, target ships and torpedoes from [Hebis] Target Drones.

ill try to do something then thank you for the help

Excellent question @cllmsteele. Very simply, just pass through the desired values using a composite write number controller through the hardpoint, to the torpedo. This allows for some interesting stuff, as in a torpedo fire computer and whatnot. I usually have a panel or something in all of my subs, so you can do some cool stuff like auto target selection, shooting behind you, and whatnot.

is there a guide to using the very advanced use form

oooo

Perhaps, @khunter3911. The big sub is a replica of Submarine No. 71, fastest submarine of ww2. Almost finished, in fact.

will the big sub be released on workshop?
