Dude great patch. F.E.A.R is an easy top 5 and this ran 60fps with natural controller support. Cannot wait to get a 360 controller for this

Yea, super strange. Downloaded it a few times and it was the same result each time.

This is what it says is inside

"Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml"

I posted a screenshot on github, hopefully I get some answers because I would love to play this game again.

Hmm that's odd, I just downloaded the latest version from github myself and Windows Defender didn't flag anything for me. I also checked the issues section on their github page and I didn't see anyone having similar issues. See if you can get a hold of the devs or report it under the issues section and see if they know something about that.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this on your end :steamsad:

Went to download this and Windows Defender found a Trojan inside.

So whats up with that?

Win, it's that time of year where FEAR and its expansions get a run through.

Hey, I'm having issues finding the FEAR.exe file location. I did decide to install the files in what i hoped would be a good location, and i did see a great improvement. I am still having an issue with my frames dropping drastically after a while, so I'm assuming i did not install it in the right folder.

Thanks for sharing this.

Also, I ran into an issue with my screen being black and only the HUD showing. I think it may have been from activating LAA or adjusting the FPS in the EchoPatch.ini file.

I copied the original EchoPatch.ini file back into the game folder and didn't adjust anything... and it works fine. Hope this helps anyone who runs into the same issue.
