Description
Enable the artillery in the game to support inter-aim shooting and hero company burst shooting. There is also a small number of vehicle-mounted self-propelled artillery that can be explored independently

Function Introduction:

1. Change the shooting methods of light and heavy artillery units in the game. Adopt a shooting method with an extremely high elevation Angle (ignoring the plowing of the bolt) to avoid hitting power poles.

2. Change the firing mode of the artillery to the hero company firing mode. After a rapid firing, it enters the cooling stage. The loading time and the number of rounds are distinguished according to the caliber of the artillery. Yes, you can shoot with eight quick shots now.

3. Add more types of artillery (75&76mm) mechanisms;

4. A direct aim shooting mode has been added to each artillery piece. This mode has a range of 180 meters, enhanced accuracy, and is equipped with armor-piercing rounds, armor-piercing rounds, and white phosphorus rounds by default.

Acknowledgements:

This mod was an idea that came to me after playing Millennium Dawn. I learned from the mod "Artillery Room Aiming and Shooting" released by Creative Workshop in 2023 and changed the shooting method of the original Four Kingdoms artillery. All these changes were made based on the original files of Hellgate 1.049 version, and the release has been approved by the author of Millennium Dawn, @无垠之兰的筱宁 of Boundless Orchid.

@⎛⎝.⎛° ͜ʖ°⎞.⎠⎞ @ArtyomTheLoner 把两位的疑问都回复一下吧,因为游戏的比例尺相对于现实是有缩减的,所以如果不对炮口的仰角作改变,会导致炮曲射的攻击范围在一个几百米开外的地区,操作比较卡手。并不是为了不打到电线杆

大佬其实可以把所谓的超高仰角这个机制给去除掉,这游戏主要玩的就是一个欣赏模型,炮闩犁地这样子太太太丑了,如果只是为了不打到电线杆而这样做的话一点也不值:gohtiger:

Is there a reason that most artillery and SPG pieces point straight up to the sky when aiming? It feels a bit silly whenever they go indirect for them to point straight up in ways that look almost impossible, the most notorious example being the Stuh-42 going straight up in a way thats CLEARLY impossible

@Riven not necessarily, as it wasn't designed as an artillery piece. the German 88 was a heavy anti-aircraft battery, it just so happened that it was also really good at killing tanks. Technically speaking, ANY large caliber gun like that "could" be used as artillery, but it really isn't designed to be used that way and you would be largely wasting ammunition at that point.

Tl;dr: technically yes, but in practice no.

@coldertermite This is a question that many people have asked me. Because after the range was increased, the corresponding modification data of the shell was not modified, and it couldn't work properly in the interaim shooting mode. The solution is to cancel the high range or wait for the compatibility patch. Thank you for your feedback!

Hello. Thanks for the mod. I wonder an issue that if is it possible to shoot further HE shells beyond its range? I'm using long range mod and it can provide to shoot further ranges even it is HE shells. There is a mod (Gates of Steel) that it can provide to shoot long ranges artillery and SPA tanks. But in this mod, it shows it can be shoot further with HE but it explodes its real ranges (160 or 180m). I want to use StuH42 to further ranges and eliminate enemies.
