This mod requires OpenStarbound![github.com]

This mod replaces the vanilla hotbar with a Lua recreation of the beta hotbar.

This hotbar comes with 10 slots and functions similarly to the hotbar from Starbound's beta. You can use the number keys (rebindable) or scroll wheel to select an item for your left hand. If shift is held, it will select the item for your right hand. This allows you to mix-and-match your items on-the-fly! In vanilla, selecting a hotbar slot sets both hands, as a slot can hold two one-handed items; you can't mix-and-match on the fly in vanilla.

Q & A
Q: Mod doesn't work! I do not have OpenStarbound[github.com] installed.
A: You must have OpenStarbound[github.com] installed for this mod to work.
Q: Is this clientside?
A: Only if the server has the same amount of hotbar slots as you (ten by default).

Q: My 'more hotbar slots' mods aren't working!
A: Those affect the vanilla hotbar! They must have built-in support or a patch for it to work with this mod.

Q: So this is a mod that increases the amount of slots from 6 to 10?
A: No, this mod changes how the hotbar works. It also does that though.

Q: Is this safe to uninstall?
A: As long as you remove all items past the 6th slot in all hotbars, yes. If you are using a hotbar mod that adds more than 6 slots, clear slots up to that amount of slots.

Q: I should install this mod without knowing what it does! Surely I will not be confused by the sudden changing of a core UI element.
A: NO, YOU SHOULD NOT.

Known Issues
• Scrolling the righthand slot doesn't allow going to the other side of the bar. ie right-scrolling down from 1 doesn't get you to 10.

I absolutely love this mod! Is there a way to re-add the "default" left and right hand slots at the middle?

New update!
* Linking an item now returns the item to its original slot, like in vanilla
* Available slots now glow when holding an item in your cursor, like in vanilla

So I've recently found out that Kae added a secret setting that allows you to move the action bar to the bottom with this command: /run return root.setConfigurationPath("inventory.bottomActionBar", true) will you be planning to add support for this in the future?

Would it be possible to mirror the sprites but keep the original quickbar?
I've been looking for a way to swith to a right-handed look instead of ever-yone/thing being left handed :)

I tried this mod but it was not something i can use personally.

Rather than what ninten said, I have a different idea. Right hand memory.
Rather than skipping 2 handed weapons, anytime something two handed is equipped (like the MM for example), it occupies both hands, but when you switch back to something one handed, the right hand returns to it's previous.
This will prevent you from clearing your right hand, while also allowing you to use two handed weapons.

Made scrolling the righthand slot skip over twohanded items. Unfortunately this introduces the issue of being unable to get to the other side of the bar by right-scrolling past its limits. ie right-scrolling down from 1 doesn't bring you to 10

yeah what's a bit annoying is that when I scroll over to a two-handed item I lose whatever side I wasn't using (left or right) resetting it back to before I used it ^^;;

is this a glitch or was this in the regular beta game ^^;; (I never played the beta before)
