"Based on the back cover artworks illustrated by John Burgoyne for Cook's Illustrated, but with an intergalactic twist.

Automato - Though almost entirely inedible to most races, its distinct coppery taste has become a staple in Glitch cuisine.
Eggshoot - This root vegetable is a common substitute for real eggs among discerning Avian. It is soft boiled in texture.
Oculemon - A large, citrus-like melon famous for its resemblance to the Human eye. The iris is unusually sweet.
Beakseed - Its nutrient-dense seeds pop with every bite, making them a popular addition to breads, trail mixes, and cereals.
Coralcreep - This aquatic fruit grows in the shape of an undersea arthropod to frighten off pests. Even its taste and texture are similar to that of Earth's lobsters, making it a common ingredient in many of the Hylotls' vegetarian dishes.
Reefpod - A sweet and salty fruit harvested from coral reefs. Its crunchy rind can provide a surprising burst of flavor to desserts and dinners alike.
Feathercrown - A sweet, starchy root often saved for ceremonial Avian dishes. Despite their appearance, Feathercrowns are fruits; their feathery leaves carry them in the wind to help spread their seeds long distances.
Boneboo - The soft insides of this fruit resemble internal organs, making it one of the few plants to be found in the otherwise carnivorous diet of the Floran.

Just checked the wiki and saw that there were three theropods (Blip, Quibble, and Tritrots), so I may plan to do a piece with all three together. I've already been considering showing critters snuggled together, but I might save that for a different set of critters or monsters. Good ideas!

Oh this looks wonderful! Man, now I'm hungry for non existent foods! Damn you! and I mean it lovingly!
Also, if you are going to do a critter display... Please, I beg you with whatever is left of my jaded scarred heart, I want - NO! I *NEED* the blue theropod-like fella from the cold planets! That little dude gives me life! I am obsesssed with anything even subtley similar to a dino! I NEED TWO OF THEM CUDDLING EACH OTHER FOR WARMTH AS A BONDING BEHAVIOUR!
... But in all seriousness, only do it if you feel like it! This stuff is already increadibly awesome and I can't wait to see more!

Evan might I recommend making pixel art ingame for the monsters? I'm lookin for more helpers for my Mega Monster Madness (MMM for short). Based on this you'd likely be a big help :D
