Introducing the RE2-Atlas Mining Carrier as the defacto heavy mining and processing fleet command ship.
The primary features of the Atlas:
- 9x 640ksu storage containers including several Ore processing holds
- 2x 320ksu harvest containers for on ship mining systems.
- A large internal hangar bay capable of storing 2x Mining shuttle capital vessels
- 4x Deconstructors for fast Ore processing
- A fusion reactor primary power system
- Over 200k shield power
- 3 Command & control stations for quick and easy access to Navigation controls.
- Massive upgrade potential!
- A Bar and Casino for on board R&R.
- A large Hydroponics deck and kitchen
- 2x fully loaded Medical bays
- And so much more!

The Atlas is designed for mutli crew use and can coordinate several smaller support vessels including an Ushaan combat corvette which can easily dispatch any threats found in rich asteroid fields.

The massive upgrade potential of the Atlas means that as you acquire those all important raw resources you can increase the capabilities of the ship. Add 4x Aux cores and then add 6x excavation turrets to the main deck of the ship for even more mining potential.
Or add more turrets to the numerous hard points on the hull to increase the ships firepower and overwatch potential. Upgrade Thrusters from those measly rocket thrusters to Ion, Plasma or even Anti-matter!

After a hard days work in the asteroid fields, unwind at the Gravity Well, the fully stocked Bar and Casino! You can always work off that debt the next day!
