Explorer Overhaul - Discover POIs Naturally

Description
Overhauls the Explorer perk by removing the POI reveals and granting +10% XP from all sources, encouraging true exploration and immersive learning.

Explorer Overhaul: Discover POIs Naturally reworks the vanilla Explorer perk in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to better reward players who engage with the world through genuine exploration.
In the base game, activating this perk automatically reveals all undiscovered Points of Interest (POIs) on the map — robbing players of the joy of discovery. This mod disables that feature and replaces it with a new, lore-friendly effect:

"Your journeys have sharpened your senses and broadened your mind. You now gain 10% more experience from all sources, reflecting the knowledge gained through a life of wandering and observation."

This version is designed for players who want a more immersive experience — where finding something off the beaten path is truly earned.

Supported Languages:
Every language that is included in the base game

Important:
This mod only changes the functionality of the Explorer perk.
If you have already activated the vanilla version of the perk and revealed all POIs on the map, this mod will not revert that effect.

Everything is fine :D
I thank you for helping out. Just added the two versions for chinese translations to the mod. Please let me know if anything sounds out of place.

first of all, I need to sorry about could not helping you.
My English is not that good...
Mostly Mods' description I can't read, they have too many words.
I used AI for translate those long long description to know what is it about.
Based on that I think using AI for translate mod's description is a good option,
And I don't know how to make those files.
Some of those websites there like Nexus and GitHub I can't visit and log in.
(like xxx_xml.pak)

Still appreciate for all the work you done and efforts.

Thats exactly what it does. Knowing where everything is alters all future actions and paths for the rest of the game.
Adding chinese localizations can be done for sure :D
Best way would be, if you could send me over the right localitzation files. That way there are no cringe translation errors. If that is not possible, i will just hit up ai for traditional amd simplified chinese translations and hope the best :D

yeah, this is what I want. This perk obviously destroy the vibe of exploring, it's the same thing what I felt in the KCD1. btw, could u support CHINESE?? appreciate that.

Well...thats strange. Will look into it. The change of description is subtle but should reflect what it does. Instead of the map reveal. Thanks for letting me know.

@Soul which language do you play the game with?
bubs 1 Aug @ 2:41pm
It doesn't change the description at all for me, but it works as it should
Destuur  [author] 1 Aug @ 6:29am
It alters the whole perk. So the description should change immediatly

Does your mod change the perk description *before* you take it, or only after you’ve picked it up?
