Description
The double-decker units of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR), in particular the DBv and DBx types, were developed by VEB Waggonbau Görlitz from the 1950s onwards. These vehicles were designed for use in local and long-distance transport in the GDR and were characterised by their high capacity and innovative design.
