I respect the 2009 grunge aesthetic but vanilla Stubble Bold is unreadable, this changes all menu and HUD UIs to use the Inter family, with both Inter Regular and Inter Bold. 

Installation
     
  1. Find your .vpk file. Default location should be here:
      
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop\3468340666.vpk

     
  2. Use VPKEdit[github.com] to open the .vpk file.
     
  3. Extract the contents to a temporary folder. Inside, you should find an addons folder.
     
  4. Merge the contents of this extracted addons folder into your main L4D2 addons directory:
      
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons

  5. Download the Sound Mod Quick Install Batch Script[www.nexusmods.com] and run the .bat file to automatically add the necessary paths
    OR
    Manually add the required paths to your `gameinfo.txt` file under `SearchPaths` like this. Note the below example assumes you're using the All-In-One package, you will have to adjust if you're using the optional files.
    "GameInfo" { game "Left 4 Dead 2" // Window title ... FileSystem { ... SearchPaths { // === Insert mod lines here === Game left4dead2\addons\inter-ui-font // === Existing search paths === Game update Game left4dead2_dlc3 Game left4dead2_dlc2 Game left4dead2_dlc1 Game |gameinfo_path|. Game hl2 } } }

  6. Save the file and launch the game.
  7. Enable the mod in the Add-ons menu.
  8. Enjoy!

VPKEdit does not work from the link.
