Enable Cheat Menu (F1)

Dome Keeper already includes a powerful cheat menu, but it’s normally locked behind developer mode.
This lightweight mod lets you access that menu anytime* using the default F1 key.

Note: In certain game modes such as Prestige, the mod’s functionality is automatically disabled.

Enabling developer mode manually (by creating a specific file in your config or save folder) comes with side effects such as:

• Extra resources are automatically granted to the player.
  
• Enemy waves are paused by default.

With this mod the core game behavior remains unchanged.

The mod is not working. What should I do?

This mod does not replace or add files directly. Instead, it hooks into specific functions, which should make it more compatible with other mods and game updates. The modloader creates a file containing all hooks. This file can become corrupted when installing, uninstalling, activating, or deactivating mods.

If that happens:

Delete "mod-hooks.zip" in the same folder as the game executable, then restart the game twice.

The first restart regenerates the file. The second restart applies it.

If this does not solve the issue, I cannot help further without detailed information. You must provide enough for me to reproduce the problem.

Start by checking the mod and game logs:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\Dome Keeper\logs

(You can paste this path into the Windows Explorer address bar. On other platforms, use the platform-specific path.)

If the issue only occurs in a specific save, include the save file. It is located in the parent folder of the path above.

Comments like "mod not working" will be ignored. If the problem is not on your end, I still need to reproduce it on mine.
