The Synths were always one of the highlights of Half Life 2 in my eyes, so I always thought it was odd Valve would waste such a perfectly good synth model. For that reason I decided to replace the regular scanner with the Synth one since nobody else seems to have done that (Only for the shield scanner). I've included the regular skin as well as a custom black one.

Because I am not aware of any gibs for the Wasteland scanner (The thing would just explode into a cloud of dust normally) I decided to use (and slightly reskin) the Scanner gibs from Chyvachok and his AIM 2 Observer mod. It was really the only fitting thing I could find that wouldn't stand out majorly. Major props to him for it.
