Description
London Zoo 1904
This is a complete recreation of London Zoo as it stood in 1904, at the transition between the classic Victorian zoo and something more recognisably modern. I have tried to make it as accurate as possible, based on a wide range of visual and written sources.

All of the publicly accessible buildings have interiors, and I have also built interiors for some keeper areas where I had good visual sources and/or they would have been visible from public areas. As a general rule of thumb, if transparent glass is used in a window or (especially) a door, the area is at least detailed enough to hold up to a glance through the window, though they do tend to be less detailed than the public areas.

One of the custom images included in the Google Drive folder linked below is the zoo map as it appears in the 1904 guidebook - this should help you navigate, and also includes a suggested route in order to see all the major buildings.

This is a very piece-heavy zoo with a large number of animals. If you just want to explore the buildings, you will get a significant FPS boost by quick trading all of the animals through the habitat menus. On my Steam Workshop page, you will find versions of the file with animals removed from the North and Middle Gardens (giving a small fps boost while exploring the South Garden), and with animals removed from the South Garden (giving a slightly larger fps boost while exploring the North and Middle Gardens), as well as a ‘lite’ version with all non-zoo scenery (i.e. the decent chunk of Camden Town and Regents Park surrounding the zoo) removed.

The elephants and camel near the main lawn make use of habitats that are too small to create a traversable area, and can be a bit unstable. The elephants tend to behave themselves, but the camel does get boxed up from time to time. The only way to fix this is to move the box somewhere else (like one of the elephant 'habitats', and then back again, as clicking 'unbox animal' does not work in that instance.

Custom Billboard Images
This zoo makes use of a lot of billboard images, as well as a few bits of custom audio. These can be downloaded from Google Drive here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1RjfZwrbhWo29ZKmT8B-bnQ50LeyvI6xk?usp=sharing

London Zoo 1904 on Youtube
I have put together historical tours of some of the major buildings on my Youtube channel, which include visual references to compare the in-game builds with the real thing, along with shorter overview videos. I do plan on a full historical tour of the entire zoo, but that will take a while to put together! My videos can be found in my London Zoo 1904 playlist here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaeEbDLW-ne2fYIIoz6yvD0tvUKtfSHSB&si=jTYNPjEfhXiWXewE

ZSH Plays has been kind enough to tour the zoo on his channel. You can see his video here: https://youtu.be/d4nN7A8432A

Workshop Items
A few of the major buildings have been uploaded to Steam Workshop separately, though many of my builds go above the piece count for workshop items.

Many of the aviaries, tanks, and smaller cages are populated by a variety of birds, fish, and small mammals created by Drac, Jaguar_X, and Captain Callum on the Workshop. If you are not already subscribed to them, I would strongly recommend doing so.

@seb.mellinger - I can't take credit for any of the birds! They are all the work of Drac, Jaguar_X, and Captain Callum, and can be found on their workshop pages. Thanks so much!

@RalphtheStick- Yes, I know, I'll keep your London Zoo anyway :steamhappy: I think the idea and the structure are very nice. You also put a lot of work into it

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Glad everyone is enjoying exploring the zoo.
@thomasfreakz thanks for the tour! The page has just been hidden for a few days after I updated the file - once I've got some assurance that won't happen every time I update, I'll be adding links to all the tours in the description.
@Stelzenvogel - yes, the enclosures are a lot smaller than modern welfare standards - this is set 120 years ago, after all. The zoo is essentially not functional as far as the game is concerned.

Actually a beautiful zoo, you did a great job with the design  But the enclosures are much too small. No food and no water !!! Have you ever looked inside, all your animals are dying of thirst and hunger :steamfacepalm:
