Description
Fixed following issues with the mod:
Missing icons due to no more existing original reference drive, raised unlock chance and cleaned out the english localization files. All credit belongs to the original author of the mod trsohmers.

Aye Beltalowda! The fusion powered drive designed by Solomon Epstein in ~2213 that changed everything. The Epstein Drive enabled the colonization of The Belt and Outer Planets as seen in the book and television series "The Expanse". This mod features 1x through 6x options for the Epstein Drive as seen on the MCRN Tachi, later known as the Rocinante.

This was made to be as scientifically accurate as possible, largely based on the analysis done by this blog post: http://toughsf.blogspot.com/2019/10/the-expanses-epstein-drive.html


This requires two new research projects; "Epstein Drive Reactor" and "Epstein Fusion Drive". The first one, Epstein Drive Reactor, requires researching Terrawatt Fusion Reactors and Applied Artificial Intelligence.

I am also working on more mods inspired by The Expanse, with eventually hope for as much of a total conversion as is possible.

Yeah, sadly been getting the same crashing issue here myself. Although this time it wasn't even unlocked by anyone, me included considering it was 2023.

Someone said that if the Epstein files are released, it'll be easier to reverse engineer the drive

The Epstein Drive did not extinguish itself. It was stupid and refused to release the names of its clients out of some nuclear hellfire honor code to Evil incarnate but clearly non-explodicidal as bore a narcissistic love for itself too much for that to even be a possibility. Something sabotaged it and its saboteurs framed it as an explodicide.

Well to be fair, by the time you get to this tech you should be the only faction still capable of fighting the xenos. The AI shouldn't be an issue

I know there are some cheat mods in the workshop that allow the player to research them but not the AI.

Might be a good idea to check out how they do that if time allows =)

The AI should not actually use this. Alas, no - i dont know how to fix it. Just did an update/cleanup of the old mod. Its a little out of my knowledge range ;) Sorry!

I am getting the above crash. I suspect that the drive or powerplant might be bugged for the AI. any ideas on how to fix it?
