The very own fabric of space trembled in fear of the destruction and ravage to come, thousands of engines roared awaiting a war that was destined to happen, and which would settle all disputes that had ever existed.

Avaskra Hub, stylised as Avaskra, is a community based around Ravenfield modding and grounded worldbuilding. We hope to bring storytelling, worldbuilding and other unconventional settings to Ravenfield.

Shortly after the discovery of an Atrean fleet being amassed in the confines of Greater Aspola, the Aurosian Federation was forced to bolster a large fleet of their own for the invasion which was to come. Although they had inherited the mighty power projection traditions of Nolus, their military materiel had reached the point of total disarray. A large number of civilian hulls would be quickly fit for military use and rushed to the Federal borders, Anzara being their crown jewel.

Not all was lost, though, as the approval of Aurosian dominance over Anzara by the Baquillus Corporation would mean a great advantage. Anzara's planetary defenses would be at their full disposal and they would later claim the losses of many Atrean ships. However, the watchful gaze of Baquillus over the conflict would serve as their final test to solidify an uneasy alliance. The loss of Anzara to Atrean hands would sever Auros' dominance over trade in the Baquillus sector, everything was at stake.

For the Atrean League, though, this was the chance to prove themselves despite being a relatively new player in interstellar affairs. The expectations of the dissident interstellar community were on them, as their victory and subsequent control of Anzara could mean the birth of a new empire; a total shift of the status quo.

Recommended settings

  • Bots: 0 (THE MAP HANDLES RESPAWNING AUTONOMOUSLY)

  • Respawn Timer: UP TO YOU

  • Balance: UNIMPORTANT
Map features
  • Full space sandbox with the capacity to spawn and board your own spaceships.

  • The map has gravity, but the ships are not affected by it. There is a slight drag that acts as inertia dampening, it is there to aid flight.

  • Pre-configured vehicles (config version unlikely to come, very few vehicles in the workshop work on the map).

  • Transitions between sectors handled with the trigger system. A small cutscene & dialog plays when you change sector, alongside the skybox changing to reflect your new location.

  • Balanced for long matches but the start is chaotic, this can change in the future depending on player feedback.

Vehicle features
  • Both large cruisers have access to nuclear missiles, these have a long cooldown but are guaranteed to decimate a ship if they hit. They have access to regular non-nuclear missiles as well, this is their weapon of choice to pop enemy flares and kill picket ships.

  • Large ships have access to self-repair weapons on the pilot seat.

  • The trawlers cannot be controlled for the time being, as their role is to occupy sectors and draw fire from enemy anti-capital ship assets.

Spectator mode should work fine, though skyboxes will not change. This is a limitation on Ravenfield's end

Is Spectator Mode available or is this a Player-only thing? If not, I'd love a map to be one of those "Static Space Battle" fights, those are always great Set-Pieces.

Accidentally piloted the trawler early because I managed to accidentally have the gamemode set as skirmish instead of battle

if i spawn a ship i glitch out and cant enter it on both teams
