If you're having a problem with Doom Eternal Freezing on the Loading to Main Menu, I have a solution to that problem.

If people like me have came across this issue, here are my ways to fix this problem.

1. id software folder:
Going to the folder that has the "id software" file that has Doom Eternal's Game Data (C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\id Software\) then you delete it to reset the Game Data (Caution: Please make a copy of the folder before deleting it!) After deleting it you might be able to load into Doom Eternal like normal

2. NVIDIA Shadowplay:
Sometimes this has happened to me when i tried to record the gameplay for my YouTube, that's another way to cause Doom Eternal to Freeze upon loading into the Main Menu. Try to Disable Shadowplay on the NVIDIA app.

3. Verifying Files:
It's easy to do, you hover your mouse on the game Doom Eternal, then you Right-Click the game. You will see a option saying "Properties". Once clicking it there will be a pop-up, all you need to do is find Local Files > Verify Integrity of game files. Once clicking it, you'll need to wait until it's done fixing files that might have corrupted.

For the people who found the NVIDIA Overlay/Shadowplay as the cause for the freeze on the main menu, and don't want to manually turn it off every time they boot Doom Eternal:

- Temporarily disable the overlay in the NVIDIA App (Settings > NVIDIA overlay)
- Open Doom > Settings > Video > Present From Compute > Off
- Close Doom
- Enable the overlay (see first step)
- Open Doom (to a lack of freezing!!)
