Washing Menus Improved

Description
⚠️ This mod is functional again in Build 42.11.0, but with some limitations.
Since this update, right-click context menus are now handled via Java and can no longer be extended from Lua. A parallel menu system has been added to restore most functionality — options now appear separately at the bottom of the right-click menu.
This is a temporary workaround while better integration is explored.

This mod replaces the broken "Wash All Clothing" option with a more flexible, dynamic, and informative washing system via new context submenus.

📦 Inventory
Wash clothing and gear in your main inventory until water runs out — even if there’s not enough to clean everything.
- Shows how many items can be washed with current water.
- Displays total item count by type.
- Itemized list of what will be washed.

👜 Equipped Backpacks and Bags
Also wash dirty gear stored in equipped bags and backpacks.
- Items are temporarily removed, washed, and returned.
- Fully automated handling.

🧻 Clean Rags
Compact submenus to clean dirty:
- Bandages
- Rags
- Denim strips
- Leather scraps

💡 Features
- 🧼 Dynamic tooltips: show dirt, blood, soap/water availability.
- 🧠 Smart menu structure: intuitive and categorized.
- 🧾 Optimized sorting: organized by type and water requirement.
- 💧 Works with all water sources and containers (sinks, wells, pots, bottles, etc.).
- ✅ Fully functional in Build 42.11+ using a new parallel system.

✅ Compatibility
- Safe to enable or disable at any time, even in existing saves.
- Not compatible with mods that overwrite the same Java-side context menu logic.
- If you're using mods like "Common Sense", place them **above** this mod in the load order.

⚠️ Este mod vuelve a ser funcional en la Build 42.11.0, pero con algunas limitaciones.
Desde esta actualización, los menús contextuales (clic derecho) se gestionan desde Java y ya no se pueden ampliar desde Lua. Se ha añadido un sistema de menú paralelo para recuperar la mayoría de funcionalidades: las opciones aparecen al final del menú contextual.
Esta es una solución temporal hasta que se encuentre una mejor integración.

Este mod sustituye la opción rota de "Lavar toda la ropa" con un sistema más flexible, dinámico e informativo a través de nuevos submenús contextuales.

📦 Inventario

Appreciate the work you are doing Afyrmo. Its silly that the devs keep making things so awkward and messing about the with the context menu.

That'd be great, thanks a lot Sir Afyrmo. It is so disgusting that players in vanilla now have to do every action by single clicking through these enlarging menus, insane

@mareckz//я не русский, at the bottom of the context menu, there should be a "Wash" submenu (with a bucket of water icon) and below it a "Clean Bandages" submenu. Ideally, these submenus should be integrated into the submenu for the water source (sink, river, etc.) being used, but in the update to Build 42.11.0, the function that controls this submenu is controlled from the Java section of Project Zomboid and cannot be modified from a Lua mod. I plan to improve the integration of the washing submenus when I have free time.

@Phil, The mod has just been updated to work again with Build 42.11.0, but due to recent changes, the context menu system had to be rebuilt in a new way. A new separate submenu appears at the bottom of the right-click menu (due to Java restrictions in this build).

To make sure the mod updates correctly on your PC, try the following steps:
* Close Project Zomboid completely.
* In Steam, unsubscribe from the mod.
* Wait a few seconds — with your Library open, you’ll see in the bottom bar when the mod is fully removed.
* Once it’s removed, subscribe again to re-download the updated version.
* Wait a few more seconds — the bottom bar should confirm when it's fully installed.
* Launch Project Zomboid and check if the issue is resolved.

Let me know if you’re still having trouble.

is it possible to add a feature where if you just click the "Wash" option that other subselectable types dropdown off of, that you attempt to wash everything possible in one go?
