Description
Xenotype REMIX: Star Wars
A patch mod that adds custom Star Wars Xenotypes using the Star Wars Xenoptypes (SWX) and Outer Rim - Galactic Diversity (OR) mods, and then deduplicates xenotypes so you don't have 3 different versions of Twi'leks appearing in your game.

1.6 Update
For the 1.6 update this mod has been completely refactored; it is now primarily C#. Previously, patching with XML alone was a nightmare when trying to account for numerous mods that patches SWX and OR xenotypes into other factions. This mod now waits for all defs to be generated, all XML patching to be complete, then patches prioritizing your preferred mod's xenotypes.

Additionally
More Faction Patches (in addition to what is included with SWX and OR)
- Various star wars xenos are now allowed to spawn with Beggars, Civil Tribe, Savage Tribe
- Pigskin Outlanders - now include Gamorrean and Ortolan
- Yttakin Pirates - now include Bothan, Chadra Fan, and Wookie (puppies!)
- Waster Pirates - now include Weequay and Nikto
- Impid Tribe - now include Tusken
- Neanderthal Tribe - now include Kaltoonian and Herglic
- Nudist Tribe- now include Twi'lek, Togruta, Falleen, and Zeltron
- Rough Tribe - Faction now consists of Cathar, Zygerrian, and Togorian (kitty cat tribe)
- Cannibal Tribe - Faction now consists solely of Ewoks

1.5 Support
Though not tagged for 1.5 anymore, the XML patches for 1.5 are still included in this mod, and if it was working for you before should continue working for you in 1.5; if it's not, I'm sorry but I can't look at those patches anymore, my eyes will bleed I'm sorry I did that to you and me.

Mod Settings
New settings menu has been implemented. This allows you to select which set of Xenotypes you prefer:
  • BTD, my "rebalance" (to my preference) of the various Xenotypes added by SWX and OR, including some custom xenotypes using the genes made available by these mods.
  • SWX, xenotypes added by Star Wars Xenotypes.
  • OR, Outer Rim Galactic Diversity Xenotypes.
Based on your selection here those xenotypes will be the one primarily available in your game, gaps being filled by BTD xenotypes and then the third mod's xenotypes if there are any unique xenotypes left to make available.

Credits
Huge thanks and shoutouts to the original mod authors for their amazing content, you've enriched hundreds of hours of my time.

Compatibility
The 1.6 version should now be more compatible with any mods utilizing any of the xenotypes added by SWX and OR.

Known Issues: None currently - please report any incompatibilities.

Sorry for the delay everyone, I think I finally have the patches working the way I need to, so a bit more testing and I should have this up soon!

1.6 update please

Enabling the mod with all the required causes the map to not fully load. States it cannot find the specified xenotypes. Pretty sad as I think it's vital considering the overlaps.

does this work with facial animation?

Hey all, should have the update to 1.6 out this week
Along with it will updates that remove dependencies, remove the destructive base game xenotype removal, and a balancing pass across all the patches xenos

Not sure when I'll be able to get to features around xenos and broader integrations with other mods

I've been wanting to get back into Rimworld with a good Star Wars overhaul and I came across your mod here. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it turns out with being able to choose and/or combine the different xenotypes.
