Description
This is the standalone version of the original ZELL (Zero Length Launch System), feel free to tweak as you wish.

📢 Notes
  • The rocket motor will burn automatically for the duration of the fuel. Adjust the rocket burn rate as needed.
  • Use the select tool in the controller's properties to allow the rocket to be fired without being connected. This optionally allows ZELL launching without the trailer, though this results in far longer takeoff rolls.
  • Send an on signal through channel 1 through either connector to launch the rocket booster.
  • The trailer has a two stage system, where it first angles the aircraft backwards (using the nose gear arm), connects the booster connector, then raises it up with the main gear arms. This puts it in launching position.
  • You can easily adjust the arm distance to accommodate different landing gear configurations. For especially lengthy aircraft, it is recommended to use the nose gear arm to lift from the center of the aircraft.
  • Some aircraft may have a hard time in Low Physics.
  • Feel free to modify and improve upon this system!
