If you want to take the addon apart and add your own songs, it's pretty extendable. The most recent update allows for users to create custom sound packs that can be registered with the mod. A quick glance at the source code will show you how to register your custom songs.

Additionally with this latest update, as a server admin, you can change which songs are allowed to play, enabling you to exclude songs you're sick of hearing.
