[Source Engine] Change language for all supported games on Source
By Allower ⁧⁧✔
This guides is designed to help you play the game with language settings, regardless of the language that is selected in the Steam interface settings.

This guide will also allow you to play with setting text in one language and audio in another.

For example: you can choose German for text and Spanish for voice acting, and Chinese for subtitles.

The launch options presented in these guides completely ignore Steam settings, which means that you will need to select the desired audio language in the game properties, if game it supports, or in the game options through the main menu. Because the game requires language audio files.

@im very scared , no, Black Mesa no longer supports normal language changes via launch options or the in-game console.

Therefore, Black Mesa, like Half-Life 2: Update, is not on this list.

Black Mesa previously supported this feature, both on the new and old game UI. You can thank the developers for removing this, either intentionally or accidentally. :/
