Description
This is a reupload of the Build New Settlement mod that is currently broken (causes a crash to desktop when you build the camp).

UPDATE: I have updated this mod to reduce the cost of settlements. For most factions the base cost is now 1750 gold with an extra incremental cost of 750 per settlement that already exists. The old system was 6000 with an incremental cost of 2000 per settlement that already exists.

@Immortal Zeki: yes probably needs a submod.

So i tested three different things. Daemons of Chaos do not have access to it for some reason, not sure why.

Custom factions that are a part of base game species/races seem to be random, probably with how they are implemented. Marienburg mod allows to build settlements though I doubt they have access to any of their special buildings, but the dread king legion does not which I am guessing is because their buildings are quite different compared to normal tomb kings.

However, completely new races like Albion don't at all which isn't really a surprise.

Most likely a submod would be needed for like all of them, which if I understood modding more than just changing a few lines in the db I would love to do but I have no idea how to.

@Immortal Zeki: have you tested it with demons or custom factions?

I don't think it will work since this mod basically hardcodes almost everything about these new cities.

Since the stuff is hardcoded I don't think it can be made to work with custom factions, but a submod would be possible.

@kane beckett:

No, sorry, but you are welcome to do it yourself!

Can you make it run with:

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3500073492&searchtext=fort+settlement

The button is occupied with the named mod.

I noticed that in the previous mod daemons of chaos were unable to create new factions. I think that is still the same, is that something that can be fixed? It says chaos warriors can have it, but doesn't seem like daemons are able. Also, does this mod have, or is it possible to have modded factions to have the same things or only game factions? Such as Albion.

@Firkraag > "in the campaign map appears the image of an army instead of the city".

I think if you build one building in the city it will change to a city

@warbossrok
it does not work correctly, when generating the new settlement, in the campaign map appears the image of an army instead of the city. try the mod alone, and the problem persists.

> could you make like a separate mod of this that is compatible with Millennium?

No, I can't support other mods like that. But I hereby grant you or anyone else permission to do it and copy the code from this mod.
