I Just Want to Play!
If you simply want to jump into the action, here’s how:
  1. Close Sacred (if it’s open).

  2. Edit the Settings:
    • Navigate to your Sacred installation folder.
    • Open the file `Settings.cfg` with a text editor.
    • Replace the following lines with these values:
      NETWORK_CDKEY : AMVW2Y3MF2OTBTSS9TLC NETWORK_CDKEY2 : 3L4FLSIRGBQS8BTCMGE9 NETWORK_LOBBY : 94.16.105.70 NETWORK_LOBBYPORT : 7066 NETWORK_SPEEDSETTINGS : 1
    • Save the file.
  3. Launch Sacred and Head to Multiplayer:
    For **OpenNet**:
    1. Select **Open Internet**.
    2. Optionally Register or enter any unused username, password, and email (note: the email isn’t used).
    3. Log on.
For **ClosedNet** (recommended for fair play with stored characters):
    1. Download the ClosedNet client[kryotek.net]
    2. Place the client in your Sacred installation folder.
    3. Launch the ClosedNet client, register (email is not needed), and log on.
  4. Choose your character from the server list and start playing!
What are the different game modes?
OpenNet
Play online using your local characters. This mode is ideal for casual play and allows for character editing on your PC.

ClosedNet
In this mode, your characters are stored on the lobby server to ensure fair play. It's for grinding, PVP, leaderboards etc.
Self Host + Advanced Setup
