Fast Zombie Vehicle Mounting

Beskrivning
An incredibly basic proof-of-concept attempt at allowing fast zombies to randomly climb on the car from Half-Life 2: EP2.
This utilizes the AttachToVehicle input for npc_fastzombie added in the March 2025 update.
From my testing it seems that they can only climb on the Muscle Car (The EP2 car/Jalopy/whatever) but hopefully this encourages people to try and experiment with this input to see if they can make them climb on other vehicles.

well i hate errors and im surprised as to how so many people dont do "if nil" or anything so it doesnt spam errors. It's annoying and majority of mods are like that. but I'll let you know if it's better! I use perfopus or whatever the name is.. I think Zippy made it, it's really useful

Yeah I'll admit optimization wasn't my first concern when making this, it was more of a proof-of-concept than anything else, but I'll take a look at it and see what I can do.

the addon is laggy when no vehicles are around, I think its because it checks too frequently for cars since its script time is kinda high at 26ms

There's nothing I can do about that I'm afraid. It's baked in to the sequence.

Yeah, I hope that too. It would be awesome if it would be like in that flash game road of the dead where if you're not fast enough, a zombie will cling to your hood. Would go amazing with seat weaponizer addons. Someone should definitely try to make an advanced version of this type of addon that would have support for any vehicle and any enemy. Like imagine a combine shotgunner getting on the hood of your jeep on the coast levels of half life 2, would make you feel a lot less safe in the car.
