Description
Survival Tabs have a long history.

In the ’60s the Federal Government was searching for a food source that could be used in specialty situations. The objective was to invent a product that would provide the best possible nutrition in the smallest possible volume. The resulting research was extremely involved and intense, and the product that evolved was used in the early space program. Eventually, a tablet was perfected and used widely as an emergency food. Professional athletes began using The Survival Tabs to maintain their ideal weight while sustaining maximum levels of activity and strength. A number of entertainers began using The Survival Tabs for the same reason. Dieters also discovered that they could lose weight very comfortably by replacing meals and snacks with The Survival Tabs.

Gives mediocre benefits to nurtition. Will prevent immediate death. Comes in bottles containing 50 tabs.

Can be found in military areas, hospitals, police areas, and pharmacies.

This mod made me realize there are no mods on the workshop, at least none I've found for B42, that add iodine and/or chlorine tablets for purifying tainted water. Sometimes you just need a quick refill from a river or pond, and don't want to kill several hours of the day gathering wood and making a campfire to boil water.

In larger quantities of water purification, one IRL can also fill the cap of a bleach bottle with bleach, and mix it into the large water supply (think rain barrel, or the useful oil barrels mod). The water tastes off, definitely doesn't make you feel particularly happy about drinking it, but it beats having the screaming s--ts for a week. I've unfortunately drank tainted water IRL (dead crayfish nearby), and man, that was a bad camping trip.

Would be awesome if you make a water tablet mod. Just throwing that out there.

I've had these before IRL, so this is a very cool and lore-friendly addition. They were really popular(and still are) with survivalists and minimalist camping enthusiasts.
