Description
Saitama Passive Progression Mod — Break Through Your Limits

A mod that modifies your progression similar to that of Saitama from One Punch Man.
This mod is a representation of how saitama progressively went from a weak business
man to a One Punching God. Every hit you take. Every boss you defeat. Every drop of
blood you spill… progressively upgrades your stats and makes you stronger.
This mod aims to make your gain in stats feel as passive and progressive as possible,
unlike the usual method of using equipments and buffs.
Your limiter has been completely removed, and you now have the potential for unlimited
growth, until you no longer feel "the exhilaration of a real fight!"

💥 Core Features 💥

-- Effort = Power --
Gain power by:
- Killing enemies & bosses
- Taking and dealing damage
- Dying
- Increasing max HP and mana

⚔️ Dynamic Stat Scaling (How each stat is upgraded)

- Strength:
+2 base STRENGTH per 100 enemy kills (requires more kills with higher base damage)
+4 base STRENGTH per unique boss kill (one time per boss)
+1 base STRENGTH per 1% damage reduction gained
+1 base STRENGTH per 20 player deaths (stops at 100+ base strength)
+1 base STRENGTH per 20000 damage dealt

- Defense:
+1 base DEFENSE per 18000 damage taken
+2 base DEFENSE per 20 HP over base 100
+1 base DEFENSE per 12 player deaths (requires more deaths with higher base defense)
+2 base DEFENSE per boss kill (one time per boss)
+1 base DEFENSE per 100 kills (requires more kills with higher base damage)
+15 base DEFENSE upon entering Hardmode

- Health:
+1 MAX HP per 8 player deaths
+1 HP REGEN per unique boss kill (max 5 bosses)
+3 HP REGEN per 100 HP (will nerf in the future)
+1 HP REGEN per 60 base mana (requires double mana after obtaining 200 max mana)

- Movement & Mobility:
+0.05625 SUPER JUMP BOOST Height per 1% damage reduction
+0.01x SPEED every 1% damage reduction gained

- Mana:
+30 MAX MANA per unique boss kill (becomes +40 after 200 max mana)
+40 MAX MANA per unique boss kill (after 200 max mana)
+20 MAX MANA per 100 enemy kills (becomes +10 max mana per 100 kills after obtaining 500 kills)
+50 MAX MANA per 100 player deaths

- Max Minion:
+1 MAX MINION per 60 base mana (requires double mana after obtaining 200 max mana)

💢 Damage Reduction Grants you various buffs as you upgrade it to 100%

≥ 5% | Dangersense, Night Owl, Hunter buffs, Super Jump (Hold W and Jump)

≥ 15% | Poison immunity
≥ 20% | Knockback immunity ("Your limiter has been broken")
≥ 25% | minor improved mining speed
≥ 30% | Become swifter in liquids, minor boosts default jump height
≥ 45% | Gives immunity to extreme temperatures (On fire, Chilled, etc...)
≥ 50% | Nearby enemies slowed
≥ 80% | Full debuff immunity
≥ 90–95% | Insane damage boosts (exponential growth)
100% | Truly become One Punch Man: Enemies take damage equal to their HP | Become bald

💾 Fully Saves Character Progression

- Tracks kills, deaths, bosses, DR, damage taken/dealt in which you can view by toggling a key in settings

Normal Mode | Unlocked at 100% damage reduction and restricts your power to your total strength
- You can adjust the amount of strength you use from 0.1% to 100% through a key you toggle in settings

Serious Mode | Unlocked at 100% damage reduction and allows you to one shot any opponent.
- Gain a red aura indicating your insane power (will add sound effects in future updates)

⚙️ Config Options

- Extreme DR Difficulty Scaling (HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR HIGH DIFFICULTY MODES)
→ Makes it a bit harder to gain damage reduction for npcs with high damage

- Mild DR Difficulty Scaling
→ Allows for a more smoother scaling for those wanting longevity

- Enable Bald Transformation
→ prevents going bald at 100% whilst keeping all one punch stat buffs (when off)

- Boss Hp % Slider Bar To Trigger Boss Theme Music
→ Lets you choose at which boss hp % the theme music plays

- Enable Projectile Deflection
→ Disables the projectile deflection ability that you obtain at 100% Damage Reduction (when off)

- Enable Enemy Slow at 50% DR
→ Disables the slow effect ability that you obtain at 50% Damage Reduction (when off)

- Boss Hp Theme Music
→ Disables boss hp theme music (when off)

- Disable Saitama Passive Progression (SWITCH ON WITH CAUTION)
→ When switched on, it stops all progression correlated with this mod and resets your stats to 0 until switched off.

🎵 An iconic intro plays once you've reached 100% damage reduction
💥 Screen shakes immensly with every punch once you've reached 100% damage reduction
💥 Projectiles bounce off your shiny head at 100% damage reduction
⬆️⬆️ Super Jump system gained at 5% Damage Reduction (Hold 'W' and Jump to Super Jump)
💬 A chat message appears when you hit 200 max mana, informing you of your new scaling rules

- Made Strength and Defense gain more balanced
- Nerfed the insane bonus strength that was gained from reaching certain DR thresholds

- Completely reworked damage reduction difficulty scaling, it will now be a lot easier to gain damage reduction in a vanilla playthrough
- Added a 'Extreme DR Difficulty Scaling' Config, reverts it back to the previous impossible to gain DR scaling
- Added a 'Mild DR Difficulty Scaling' Config, smoother scaling for those wanting longevity

- Fixed kill count not updating in Multiplayer
- Fixed player gaining 1 hp per death instead of the correct 1 hp per 8 deaths in Multiplayer
- Added a 'Disable Saitama Passive Progression' configuration that stops all progression with mod

- Added a 'Disable Super Jump' key toggle setting that disables super jump
- Fixed Super Jump not working when wings and rockets are equipped
- Fixed Super Jump sound effect playing whilst holding w in air

- Added two modes, 'Normal' and 'Serious' which is switched via a toggle key in settings and is unlocked at 100% DR
- You can now adjust your strength from 0.1% to 100% in Normal Mode via a toggle key in settings

Future updates planned:
- Adding a 'No more OverPowered Progression' configuration that makes progression more challenging with less stat bonuses.
- 'Easy mode' configuration that makes progression much easier

A great mod, does what it says it does, perhaps a bit too well.
I had fun throughout my current playthrough but I think I'll disable it for future playthroughs.
Things were a bit TOO easy.
Especially with how out of order I beat many of the bosses.

I feel like a config option to either reduce or disable the regeneration you get from leveling up would be nice. I know balancing the mod kinda defeats the point of it, but having the option means you can choose to leave it as is.
Gang how long do you think it'll take for calamity to break when i load this up alongside it (i'm gonna be unbeatable by hardmode lmao)

Hi. I guess one could call this a feature, but it seems.. unfair.. or even buggy.
The Empress of Light, during the day has just insta kill attacks. I had about 6% DR and just after like 3 (or 4) deaths (accidentally) i was already at 100% DR.

Actually I would make that a config to enable or disable in case people want other class of weapons to recieve a damage buff.

Hey Norbotrox, thanks for your input. Therefore, I plan on making it so that strength scaling only applies to melee damage/weapons, as well as nerfing the strength gain amount to prolong the playthrough.

Hey, loving the mod :Gifting:, also i would like to give some ideas for balance changes. Like damage scaling would not affect weapons that shoot or just adding a custom fist weapon and the scaling only buff that. I feel the damage is too much, pre hardmode just from looting most of my weapons already do above 200 damage one tapping everything and there isnt any config i could modify. Because other than the strength, everything else is "balanced", and actually takes time to level up. But the strenght is leveling up abnormally fast. If you could give us please a setting in the config to modify the strength gain speed it would be perfect. :cattiva:

@hshxhd8875, if you check in the config options, there's a '- Boss Hp Theme Music
→ Disables boss hp theme music (when off)' configuration already implemented.
