Hello and welcome back to a new mod.

Formal information:

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TEXT CAREFULLY!!!

This will answer most of your questions in advance.

Please don't ask for updates, there will definitely be some coming.

If you like the mod, please leave feedback and constructive criticism. If you find bugs, please report them here . Please don't ask, I will see the hints.

Now enough formalities to the actual mod description.

Mod description:

The mod ‘Lords of chilvalry’ is a Bretonia expansion/rework mod that aims to logically expand the Bretonia faction to make it more playable in the campaign as well as in the costum battle multiplayer.

Content of the mod:

The mod currently contains the following content:

- 8 new legendary commanders. These eight commanders are the dukes of Bretonia and bring with them a ‘bloodline’ ability that is based on the tradition and history of their duchy. They are also playable with the respective duchies in the campaign. These bloodline abilities add flexibility to Bretonia's core Hammer and Anvil strategy without changing the core of the army. The commanders have customised models and additional abilities.
- 8 new playable duchies with their own faction effects, aligned with Breton history.
- The starting settlements of the factions created by Mixu have levelled up small settlements to simplify the start of their campaign. However, this only applies if the player is playing this faction.
- Techtrees have been partially adapted with regard to the confederations.
- 3 new units that have been carefully thought out and created to logically complement the Bretonnian unit roster without making the faction too strong. The units are Bretonnian Foot Knights, Peasant Crossbowmen and a Legendary Grail Relic.
- New abilities have been created to complement the Bretonnian vanilla units in a logical and purposeful way. Knights with lances, for example, now have the ability to ‘throw away’ their lances and draw their swords. This ability changes the unit's stats forever and allows the Breton cavalry to be used more flexibly. There are also other abilities (see the mod itself).
- Vanilla units have been partially adjusted logically. The Companions of Quenelles now have 15% magic resistance instead of 20% fire resistance. The Grail Relic has had its combat values weakened, as it is not supposed to fight anyway, in order to make it 50 gold cheaper and to make it more attractive for inclusion in the army.
- Reskin for all Men at arms and Peasant Bowmen units.

Due to CA's latest patch there seems to be an issue with files written in caps.
This can vary from mod crashes to single models/textures not loading...
Since we have a handful of mods, we can't go through them and check/ fix this.
So we ask you for patience, CA is aware of the problem and is working on a hotfix.

You'll have to try it out for yourself. Please use only your requested mod, my own and Mixus unlocker in the test so that we get an accurate result.

No, the mod is written in English. I am only German and therefore play on German settings, which is why a lot of the pictures are in German.
